I’m Allen Brown, but you might know me as Master Barber Al—a dedicated barber, educator, and successful entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the barbershop business.

My journey began at the tender age of 14, when I first picked up the scissors and clippers that would set me on a path of creativity and craftsmanship. From those early days, I immersed myself in the art of barbering, honing my skills and developing a deep appreciation for the craft. This passion fueled my commitment to excellence, driving me to become not just a barber, but a master of the trade.

Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and operating three successful barbershops, each one a testament to my dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. These establishments became more than just places to get a haircut; they were community hubs where clients felt valued and barbers thrived in an environment of continuous learning and support.

In addition to running barbershops, I founded the Success Barber Academy in the picturesque Poconos, Pennsylvania, from 2019 to 2023. This barber school became a cornerstone for aspiring barbers, providing top-tier training and education. Through the academy, I had the honor of licensing over 50 barbers and training more than a hundred, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the industry.

In 2017, after a brief hiatus from ownership to explore the dynamic world of internet marketing, I launched Pocono Barbers, my third barbershop location. This venture marked a significant milestone in my career, transforming Pocono Barbers into a six-figure-a-year business. The success of this barbershop is a testament to the effective strategies and business acumen I’ve developed over the years.

My entrepreneurial spirit doesn’t stop at the barbershop. Between 2005 and 2015, I co-founded RocBattle.com with Grammy-winning producer Rockwilder. This platform revolutionized the way producers and artists collaborated online, generating millions of dollars through the sale of beats and signing numerous producers. Rocbattle.com became a beacon for creative professionals, helping them achieve significant financial success on the internet.

Throughout my career, my focus has always been on empowering others to reach their full potential. Whether through owning barbershops, running a barber school, or creating successful online platforms, my mission has been to provide the tools and knowledge necessary for others to succeed. Licensing over 50 barbers and training more than a hundred has allowed me to directly impact the lives and careers of many talented individuals in the barbering community.
